Behold I Make All Things New
…Behold, I make all things new….. (Revelation 21:5)
A beautiful promise, especially if you look around in your country and around the world, where destruction, insecurity, murder and all kinds of negative things happen. Not something to be particularly happy about, especially when it seems as if there is no hope.
But all of this was prophesied. All of this has to take place before there is a renewal. Even a forest destroyed by fire, gives hope when a seedling comes up. In the same way we should not lose hope.
This renewal can begin even now in your life, by accepting Christ and to live for Him. Your visa for the new heaven and the new earth is Jesus. There is no misery, no death, no weeping….let the Bible speak for itself:
“And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” (Revelation 21:3-5 KJV)
God bless you and have a blessed Sabbath
Over One Sinner
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8 KJV)
The parables of the lost sheep, the lost coin and the prodigal son are known by practically everyone. In case you do not know these parables, you can read about them in Luke 15. Often enough our focus is on what is lost and not on the one looking. The hero in these parables is the seeker.
Why bother to make so much effort for that one sheep? Aren’t there still 99 left? The yield is good. Why worry about a single coin, while another 9 are left? Or why look out for an ungrateful son, who thought living with you was not good enough?
Simple because the person who seeks is God and He never gives up. Are you the sheep who is lost and don’t know your way back? He seeks after you. Are you the coin, and you are not aware that you are lost? He does everything in His power to find you. Or are you the son, and know that you are lost and return with your “tail” between your legs? He is waiting for you to welcome you.
Friend, God does not give up on you. He loves you with an everlasting love. It knows no end. Talk to Him today. Tell Him everything that is in your heart and let Him do for you what you cannot do for yourself. God bless and have a blessed Sabbath.

Be In Good Health
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. (3 John 1:2)
God’s desire for His children is that they are healthy. In all aspects, be it physically, spiritually or mentally. Today we look at the physical.
The best diet is a vegetarian diet. But today it is not always possible to do so consistently (at least not for everybody). Man’s first diet was vegetarian. (Genesis 1:29)
After a while God added meat to his diet and gave specific details about what can and cannot be eaten. (Leviticus 11) The concept of clean and unclean existed since and before the time of Noah, ” Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that are not clean by two, the male and his female.”(Genesis 7: 2 KJV)
Ingesting harmful substances such as tobacco, alcohol and drugs and others, is not worthy of God, for the Bible also tells us: ” What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” (1 Corinthians 6: 19-20 KJV).
God asks us to be obedient to Him and to build up our relationship with Him. That’s the only visa that gives you access to His Kingdom. God bless and blessed Sabbath.

Seasoned With Salt
Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. (Colossians 4:6)
When we speak with someone the message, we want to convey, can be influenced by many factors. Your body posture, volume, tone, words used, etc. One can therefore respond positively or negatively to what we say. Sometimes we mean well with what we say, but it can be misunderstood.
Words can hurt, so use them well. If you must say something about someone, THINK first. Is it True? Is it Helpful? Is it Inspiring? Is it necessary? Is it Kind?
We must not insult others because that way we insult God. We should not look down on others, because we are not better than another. And when we speak let it be pleasant and tasteful (seasoned with salt). May God bless our tongues with uplifting words, so that His name may also be exalted by our words.
God bless and blessed Sabbath.

Are we Really Living the Lord’s Prayer?
Taken from the internet, I saw it fit to share as a devotional on my website. Do enjoy as you read and ponder on these words:
I cannot say OUR if I live only for myself. I Cannot say FATHER if I do not endeavor each day to act like His child. I cannot say WHO ART IN HEAVEN if I am laying up no treasure there. I cannot say HALLOWED BE THY NAME if I am not striving for holiness. I cannot say THY KINGDOM COME if I am not doing all in my power to hasten that wonderful event. I cannot say THY WILL BE DONE if I am disobedient to His word. I cannot say ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN if I will not serve Him here and now. I cannot say GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD if I am dishonest or seeking things by subterfuge. I cannot say FORGIVE US OUR TRESPASSES if I harbor a grudge against anyone. I cannot say LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION if I deliberately place myself in its path. I cannot say DELIVER US FROM EVIL if I do not put on the whole armor of God. I cannot say THINE IS THE KINGDOM if I do not give the King the loyalty due him from a faithful subject. I cannot say THE POWER if I fear what others may do. I cannot say THE GLORY if I am seeking honor only for myself. I cannot say FOREVER if the horizon of my life is bounded by the things of today.
